Will the booster seat fit 3 across in my car?

Connect3® is the first and only booster that can fit 3-across in a variety of combinations with other Connect3 boosters, Radian® convertible car seats, and adult passengers in most mid-sized sedans and up.

When is my child ready for a booster seat?

Diono® booster seats can be used for children weighing 40-120 lbs. (18-54 kg) and are 38-63 in (96.5-160 cm) tall. Typically, once a child reaches five years of age, they are mature enough to ride in a booster seat.

When does my booster seat expire?

All Diono® booster seats have a life span of 8 years, starting from the date you purchase your seat. In the event the date of purchase cannot be determined then we use the date of manufacture.

Can I use them on flights?

Diono® booster seats cannot be used on airplane. Boosters require both a lap and shoulder belt, and airplanes only have a lap belt.

Can I use this product if I don’t have a LATCH system?

Yes, your booster seat can be used without the LATCH. ALWAYS secure the child restraint using the vehicle seat belt or LATCH even when it is unoccupied. It could injure other occupants in a sudden stop or collision.

How do you install this product using the LATCH?

Lay booster sideways, press silver lever, and pull LATCH connectors. Don't overextend. Attach both connectors to the car anchors, farthest first. Ensure hooks face up. Pull both straps while pressing booster into seat. Ensure connectors are secured.

How do you uninstall this product's LATCH system?

Disengage lower anchors by reaching on the side of the booster seat and depressing both cam locks while pulling the seat away from the vehicle seat until the straps are extended fully. Unhook lower anchor connectors from the vehicle LATCH anchors.
